        In the last two decades, there has been growing attention to environmental, social, and economic sustainability in management activities and researches. As a branch of sustainable human resources management, Green human resources management is a brand new topic within the field of human resources management that emphasizes the goal of environmental sustainability, considering the fact that the world is experiencing a green economy. Therefore, this study sought to examine the level of hotel staff awareness concerning green management and its benefits. The statistical population of the study comprised 60 employees of hotels and restaurants in Bijar city located in Kurdistan province. Using the Morgan table, 52 individuals were randomly selected for the statistical sample, administering a questionnaire to collect the required data. Moreover, both descriptive and inferential statistical methods were used to analyze the data obtained from the sample, and factor load coefficients were used to assess the validity and reliability of the questionnaire. The study's results indicated that green human resource management had a significant effect on the organizational commitment of employees and their environmentally friendly behavior, and the environmental performance of the hotel. Also, the employees' organizational commitment had a significant effect on their environmentally friendly behavior, which in turn significantly affected the environmental performance of the hotel.
